Data we collect

CardSense does not collect or store any personal information. When you take the quiz, your answers (income range, spending categories, CIBIL range) are processed in your browser to generate recommendations. This data is never sent to our servers, never stored, and never associated with your identity.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use CardSense in aggregate. For example, how many people complete the quiz, which pages are visited most, and so on. GA4 uses cookies to collect this data anonymously. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. You can opt out of GA4 tracking via your browser's cookie settings or by using a browser extension like uBlock Origin.

Affiliate links

CardSense earns a referral fee when you click an 'Apply' button and are approved for a credit card. This fee is paid by the issuing bank. It does not influence our rankings. We always rank cards by the savings they generate for your specific spending profile, not by commission rate.

Third-party services

We use Google Analytics (analytics) and Vercel (hosting). These services may set their own cookies and have their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for marketing purposes.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. If we make material changes, we will update the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. Continued use of CardSense after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
